The builder needs a clear job, not a string of visual adjectives. A brief for a tutor, freelancer or local service business should explain the customer’s next action.

A practical sequence

  1. Define the visitor, the one primary action and the information they need before taking it. For a tutor page this might be subjects, teaching format, location and a contact method.
  2. Provide exact approved copy, image rights and brand preferences. Mark unknown prices or claims as missing instead of letting the generator invent them.
  3. Specify practical constraints: mobile first, readable contrast, no autoplay media, small page weight and an accessible contact route.
  4. Ask for a page outline before implementation. Review the order and only then request a build, followed by a list of links and interactions to test.

An example to adapt

Brief: Build a one-page tutor enquiry site. Use only supplied facts. Include subjects, format, frequently asked questions and a contact link. Flag missing details.

Try the example in a copy or a small project before applying it to live work. Keep the working version available and record the exact change you made. For a college project or a freelance handoff, being able to explain the decision and demonstrate the result is more valuable than adding features you cannot maintain.

What to check before you finish

Generated testimonials, awards and scarcity claims should never slip into production as decoration. Replace placeholders before the page goes live.

Verify the intended behaviour as well as one failure case. Record what worked, what remains uncertain and how to reverse the change. An AI-generated explanation can help you investigate, but the running project and its actual output are the evidence.
